Project .orgs

I was surprised to find out that there are over 3.5 million Web pages using "project.org" in their URL.

Does anyone here own any "project" .orgs? I think I'm going to run some scans later on and pick up what's left.

I clicked at least a couple of dozen links and none are parked pages.
Seems this suffix is for serious developers ..... Nice recognition there.

I was trying to look for some and came across this - americaproject.org.

What the heck is it, some sort of link farm? i can't imagine it'd be worth doing??
