Problem in Namecheap or GoDaddy or my own?

I wanted to transfer domain from godaddy to namecheap. I initiated from namecheap and I was waiting for so call 'EPP code' which never came.

what should I do? never done this before, any help

First time for everything.

You get the EPP code from your losing registrar. Then you give it to the gaining
registrar.

if u are transfering .com, u not need EPP...
