Is anyone here able to register .pro's?
I have a client that would like some but has been told he can't because he is not an industry specific professional, i.e a lawyer, a doctor ect

you can use www.encirca.com to register .pro domains for 99$. They are offering a proxy service to handle those limitations. Also very recent news just released saying that all those previous limitations are removed. In near future, without a proxy anyone may register a .pro/

I think .pro is too high cost $99 compare with other TLD.

Any cheapest place to register & renew .pro.

Encirca's $99 is tenfold higher than other gTLD reg fees but it is the best option available. If the current proposals to reduce registration restrictions get approved it might encourage other registrars to offer .pro and ultimately bring down registration fees. Of the $99 fee, $6 goes to Registry.pro and $93 goes to Encirca so there is scope for fee reductions on the registrar's side.
