.tv Private .TV sales net me 5K profit

All are private sales and all are non premium regges and all took place within the last week and a half.

This is my first profit realised since I started domaining 12 months ago. Here is one huge lesson learned.

I got an offer on two names in the last year that could have had a better outcome for me had I realised that my attachment to the name has nothing to do with what the buyer is prepared to pay me for it.......and so I lost out on those two sales which I of course I regret, cause they are burning renewal holes in my pocket right now.

Thus, this time, when I received an offer, I also took into account the fact that the buyer wanted a quick deal and was not looking to pay top dollar (absolute shocker!).....and so an agreement was reached and now this 5k is money to reinvest or pay towards development of a name or to lose in one night over a game of poker......but one thing wont be happening......8 or 09 renewal fees burning holes in my pocket!!!!

Im glad to see many of you guys who risked lots with your faith in .tv from early on are not being rewarded with some nice sales. :bingo:

Hey Mac....I assume your last sentence meant to say are NOW being rewarded as opposed to NOT being rewarded!!

Details I am guessing will be revealed sometime soon over the next few weeks, but that is not my decision.........the biggest single sale was 2k , the rest were different batches that bought the total to 5K or close enough.....
