Today,

I exchanged e-mails with Deborah Burditt who is in charge of premium .tv names with enom regarding the renewal policy for the premium .tv names that I have. Her first e-mail quoted my renewal prices at the 1 year price that verisign had when I first registered the names. This was the exchange that followed.

Any word on how and when the unregistered premium .tvs will be
available. I am interested in obtaining more?

Also, what are the rates to renew at multiple years for the names I
already have. I was told by Verisign before the transfer that I would be able to renew at the same discounted tier pricing as when I agreed to register these names in the first place?

Once again thanks for your help!

The domains aren't currently for sale but you can submit a request to be
considered for 2nd Qtr '07. Go to www.enom.tv 'Check a name' to
complete the forms.

We're not currently offering discounts but feel free to keep in touch.

Deborah

Her response on renewal prices is better than "we will no longer be offering discounts" . Let's just cross our fingers, and hope they offer some discounts in the near future.
There are ".tv" experts here at Namepros who may know more, and will let us all know soon, I am sure.

Why is it weird Verisign offered discounts - Pricing is now at DEMAND MEDIA's choice the old rules do not apply. And someone I spoke to who met with Demand Media management said they said there is no intention of discounts

People have to forget the Verisign way and wait for the PREMIUMS to be available and see the DEMAND MEDIA way

Poodle when you click add years on a premium name in your account the amount should be what you were promised at Verisign. IF it $500 it should be $500 but if you mean it is $500 for one year renewal but what if I reg for 2 or 4 or 6 It will be $500 No other discount

I guess I just thought that when we registered premium domain names from .TV in the past you always new for example that you could buy it for say 1 year at 1k with the intention of renewing it when you had the cash for multiple years at less then the 1k per year. So now 10 years is 10K, there is no incentive to register for multiple years.
