MEDIA ALERT

Demand Media and eNom to Release Premium .TV Domain Names

Nearly 53,000 Premium Names to be Brought Back to Market May 1

SANTA MONICA, CA AND BELLEVUE, WA, April 30, 2007 — Demand Media, Inc., the next-generation web media company, and its wholly owned subsidiary and largest wholesale registrar, eNom ®, announced today that premium .TV domain names will be made available tomorrow, May1st, at 1:00pm PT. Interested parties can go to www.domainsindemand.tv to register the nearly 53,000 names that have been off the market for close to five months.

In December of last year, Demand Media announced a strategic alliance with VeriSign, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRSN), to leverage Demand Media’s new media platform, industry relationships and web 2.0 expertise to increase .TV registrations. Demand Media is bringing the names to market in conjunction with the release of its proprietary tools to create video-centric websites with social networking with every .TV registration, free of charge.

Still not seeing where you all are seeing actual premium prices.

I go to enom.tv and search... it just brings up the old form for you to send in to request info on premium information.

In the address bar, it will show "&r=xxxxx". xxxxx is the ransom. :]

ah ok, I see thank!
I assumed there was a large list where they have them all together and sent it to you.
So the prices we see, these are the final prices that they will become available at?
If so, whats all the hype about?
semi decent ones are like $500, and decent ones I found were $1000-5000

If 1pm is GMT 9.00pm ( making it 11pm in Greece ), then I will be in front of the .tv watching the Champions League semi final. Hopefully, some of the Chelsea players minds will be on which premium .tvs they can reg after the game, and their concentration won't be 100% - then my team might just make it to the final ;)

I figured it out. I am just going to sit and watch as people come on here and have this conversation:

"Ok, I couldn't resist, I picked up Boxes.tv"
"Reg-Fee"
"Crap, it was 5K."

Wireless Broadband is the answer, checking out Enom with the laptop on my knee watching which team we will be facing in the final ( and no i am not an AC Milan fan before anyone says anything  )

keep it under wraps but i think( and hope) Liverpool win.

I never thought i would hear myself saying that,
