Hey Everyone,

I am 100% newbie! well not 100% I've been doing research and reading and reading and reading and watching videos for about 3 weeks. And although I consider myself pretty internet savvy - obtained my first Yahoo email address the day they went public in 1995 - believe it or not this is my very very first post in a forum ever!

Is there some type of online domain management system that allows a user to keep track of his portfolio all in one place, and most importantly list a domain for sale on multiple platforms/sites all at once - instead of having to do it individually ie. GoDaddy, Flippa, Afternic, Sedo? Does Efty do this or some other site? Always trying to save time ;)

Thanks so much for your help!

@biggie agreed a parked domain isnt going to generate any new backlinks. Aslo agree that valuation is not worth much.
We built insights to provide domainers with as much information about their name to make the best decision for a sale
. After we loaded lists of names it was interesting to see patterns in our data. For example many of the domains sold in our personal portfolio were older in domain age and previously registered. Something we didnt focus on at time of sale.

Some domainers sell domains based on what they paid for it and have no idea about additional info.

We show you how much traffic your name gets, where the traffic is coming from (not many services provide this) , what country its coming from, how old the name is, when it will expire, what the admin email is, where its registered, the alexa rank. Having this info when you make a sale is alot better in making a decision than not having it. The more data you are armed with the less likely you are to sell a gem domain for cheap.
We are always looking at other tools and releasing new features each month based on feedback. Many of the features in our roadmap actually came from feedback on this forum. We love to hear it and respond to it. Good or bad.

@toughdomains

Hi

don't know why you keep saying the same things, that i previously dismissed as "non-unique" to your service.

because ppc's, also provide traffic origins, referrers, email inquiries, email addresses, etc,.
then that data, plus any "income" generated from those respective names, puts a domain owner in a much better position when deciding whether to sell, or not.

imo...

@biggie there are many parking options currently out there.
We have personally tested most of them and discovered most provide no more than few dollars on a portfolio of over 100k visits per month.
There are many threads here that discuss parking vs sales page. Parking revenue just isnt what it used to be (which is strange because over the years we have seen media costs increase for premium placement.)

I think a bigger conversation is even at pennies per thousand of views, if everyone just replaced their default hosting parking page with something personalized, it would result in more revenue and offers for the owner.

We are trying to provide something different. As far as I know there is no service that allows you to instantly develop hundreds of domains in seconds with a news page. And we have plans to offer many more options than news.

Many of the current parking and domain tools share functionality and specialize in certain areas. All we can do is keep trying until our users are happy. And again the feedback from namepros has resulted in many changes to our system.

Hi

when you 'tested" these ppc's, what names did you test them with?

cuz, if your names aren't worthy, then yeah, all you will get is a few dollars on a portfolio, if that.

we all know parking isn't what it used to be, but what is like it used to be now-a-days?

as for the threads on NP, those that earn say parking ain't dead... while those that make anything, say parking is dead.

and... there have been several services who have tried the auto-dev with domains, ala mini-sites, mfa's, whypark, etc., so that's not a unique concept either.

keep trying though.....

imo....

We just launched a portfolio platform for free....
Most other products require you to update each name at the domain level. We let you update all info like a spreadsheet. unlimited names for free. if you want api data like alexa rank and backlinks and valuation that requires a pay plan

https://www.namepros.com/threads/new-free-domain-portfolio-manager.1001860/

as far an we know no site allows you to list your domains on all market places. They all would require direct apis. Flippa doesnt really have a public api, namejet is very restrictive, godaddy may have one, afternic is godaddy and sedo does not. godaddy charges an auction fee to be part of the acution...and namejet has an approval process. you send them a list of names and they approve disapprove and they have even told us to adjust prices lower or they wont list. at the end of the day if your talking marketplace there are only 2 Godaddy/afternic and sedo....flippa and namejet are more auction based. If everyone played nice and offered an api it could be done.

Could this be something a newbie like me could use as well? I looked over the website, and I see how to sell the domains, but how do you buy them? This may be more of a PM convo to have. I am trying to understand why tough would do it for free?
