I would like to sell a group of similar domain names together.

How does one do a portfolio sale?

Is it possible to do this on Sedo?

Thanks!

You could try Flippa. Sedo doesn't have such an option as selling portfolios.

Thanks. Does Flippa use Escrow? Does it have a good reputation like Sedo?

Bido also allows portfolio sales if you need an alternative.

Does Bido use Escrow and have a good rep?

Bido uses its own escrow service, this means the buyer pays to their account, you transfer the domain, then they pay you.
It is a relatively new marketplace, with not so many buyers. The sale prices are usually very low. Between Bido and Flippa, I would choose Flippa.
Think about this, if your domains are expensive, then potential buyers are expecting a good and serious marketplace.

Bido screwd me... They ask $1 deposit. I did. 1 week after Im trying to bid again, they asked me another $1 deposit. I've emailed them and they said that I need to do the first $1 deposit.... Well I alerady did it...

They are now ignoring me and I've open a paypal claim..

Just saying..

I use Cax.com you can have a great portfolio "view".
Flippa is a good place but some time you won't get luck selling your Premium Domains at the right price.. :/

You don't need escrow if you use bido.

Just a heads up that normal listings on Flippa don't get much exposure when it comes to domains - I got a whopping 14 visitors or so to my page and no bids at all. They should allow us to create another listing for free if our domain is not sold, then Flippa would really take off for domainers.

Doesn't they allow you to relist the listing for free? I remember it was free.

You should understand one thing, if your domains are not good enough, then doesn't matter where you list them. Sedo is a huge marketplace with millions of domains listed.

@Avabelle - I thought Shelby90 already told you that Sedo doesn't do Portfolio Sales? You might approach one of the Sedo Brokers directly to see if they are interested in trying to sell your portfolio, Portfolio sales are very difficult to achieve. There will always be domains the buyer doesn't want to pay anything for, and you end up basically them giving away for the price of the domain they really want. I don't see any benefit to you bundling up the domains. You'd maximize your profit by selling them individually for your top price, and once your sold one (or two) dropping the rest, if you are trying to get rid of them. Or keeping them for future sales, if you think they are valuable enough to keep. Just imho.

Yes, Shelby told me that Sedo doesn't do portfolio sales. I was just wondering if Sedo was considered the best place to sell.

You make a good point about Portfolio sales...now I am thinking of selling them individually.

Thanks for the advice :)

For quick sales, no. Otherwise, yes.. at least for me.

They allow you to relist for half price. But that ain't good enough :p

However for selling websites they are the best there is.

@Avabelle - I put all my sales on Sedo, Afternic, GoDaddy. GoDaddy has been by far my most sucessful venue this year. Good luck with your sales
