My webpages have been down for several days and I have not received any word from Polurnet about this. Anyone else in the same boat?

Also my emails seems to bounce. So support is totally cut off at the minute.

No it's not silly actually. Your main site is down right now for people in California.

Potential new customer here. Been eyeing your reseller hosting as you've gotten rave reviews here and I just happen to have a ton of llll's I plan to develop.

I was literally going to sign up with you guys today. Had planned to go with you a few months ago but was waiting until my other reseller accts were full.

What's the deal?

https://billing.polurnet.com/beta/order still works fine, and I tested it from a traceroute in California.

It appears the datacenter is having a major network routing issue for our main server, which is causing the appearance of downtime when trying to access our main site. We're of course fixing this.

It is silly because there is a major differentiation between who is affected ... currently less than 5-10% are affected by the issue, as most of our main shared/reseller hosting servers work perfectly. New customers are not placed on the same server where polurnet.com is routed anyway, so there is no correlation. Take a look at these third-party uptime stats for some of our servers:

-iPrimus server: http://www.siteuptime.com/prem_statistics.php?Id=3438&&UserId=40867

-iJet server: http://www.siteuptime.com/prem_statistics.php?Id=4869&&UserId=76214

- oPhire server: http://www.siteuptime.com/prem_statistics.php?Id=10235&&UserId=40867

So clearly, what I mentioned in few posts above is accurate. That's precisely why I have been persisting to make sure that customers (new and current) realize that saying "polurnet is down" is making an incorrect broad generalization

Yes, unfortunately the same for me too dre

No access at all since around 9-10pm GMT yesterday and can't access http://support.polurnet.com

support.polurnet.com uses images from our main site, so since they don't load, the actual site doesn't load for a long time.

You may use the direct URL http://support.polurnet.com/kb/newticket.php for support. We are aware of the oPhire issue, so there's no need to send tickets about it now. We have about 45 open tickets now about the issue, so we are definitely working on it and I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, I've been working all night with the datacenter to fix this, and they still have not been able to.

I am on the ophire server: [ http://ophire.nsglobalhost.net/] - Check the landing page for that also.

and my sites are down. Also

Ok cool.

Do you have any idea when everything will be back up? Me, clients etc are losing business.

Keep up the good work.

Useless and grossly incorrect posts like yours is precisely why moderators are present on this forum. This has been reported.

You see someone's site as they are using the main server's IP for their site.

We are aware that all sites on Ophire are not working from all locations, and this is being fixed as quickly as possible. The datacenter mentioned it should be fixed within this hour.

okay, this will be the correct term I think, ophire server of polurnet hosting is down for several hours now, I am in it too, and I'm loosing a lot.

You told us to go to support.polurnet.com earlier when you knew that the images there comes from the main site which is down that makes it too slow to load wherein you could have suggested earlier to go to http://support.polurnet.com/kb/newticket.php to make it easier for us.

It could have been easier to accept if you tell us something like "Hey guys, ophire is down, patience please while we sort things out." instead of telling others that it isn't appropriate to say that polurnet is down!!!

The Network Engineering team has resolved the major routing issue to a few of our servers at our Dallas datacenter.

The problem itself is very technical and I'm personally not even sure how it came about suddenly yesterday, but basically one of the servers was literally taking over the rest of the servers attached to the same private VLAN (in this case, iJet was taking over the IPs originally routed for oPhire and a customer dedicated server). This issue was resolved finally after many phone calls and escalations, and everything is now working normally. %%- This scenario probably fits well for a geeky movie on servers taking over each other using IPs and routers. :p

Thanks for everyone's patience and understanding during this time.

I hope we get as many posts now that everything works properly, as it often occurs that once a problem is resolved people don't bother to post comments anymore until the next complaint occurs :zzz:

No, no sites have ever been down for at least 4 months on any of our servers. Instead of starting a thread, consider contacting us first. Your IP may have been blocked by our firewall, but you can still access the helpdesk at http://support.polurnet.com/kb/newticket.php

Agreed. Let me just remind folks that Namepros is not the official support channel for every instance that your website goes down. It's best to first contact your host (or, at least, check from a proxy site) before jumping on here to report an outage.

I think this thread has run its course.
