PM Time Limit

Only being able to post / send messages every 45 seconds is infuriating for those who legitimately need to send a lot of messages.

I have a number I reply to each day and in particular, when I am replying to PMs from my 'Domains Wanted' threads, I don't have time to reply to all the messages if I have to wait so long between sending each 'Thank you but no thank you' message.

I assume this is in place to stop spammers - who would nearly always be those with under 100 posts - so would it be possible to allow those with say, 500+ posts to PM more frequently (say 20 seconds)

Here's some info that might help regarding the private messaging system

Regular Members:
Maximum Recipients to Send PMs at a time: 1
Message Throttle Quantity: 20
Maximum Stored Messages:: 500

NP Supporters:
Maximum Recipients to Send PMs at a time: 5
Message Throttle Quantity: Unlimited
Maximum Stored Messages: 2,500

Business Members:
Maximum Recipients to Send PMs at a time: 10
Message Throttle Quantity: Unlimited
Maximum Stored Messages: 65,535

General:
Floodcheck - Minimum Time Between Messages: 15 seconds
(I just reset this from 45 seconds to 15 seconds, however, If we start getting an influx of spam reports I will have to raise this back up to 45 seconds.)

Great. Thanks for the clarification and change to 15 seconds Eric. Should be long enough to deter spammers and short enough to keep picky NPers placid. :notme:
