Hello,

This has gone live today. I've put a lot of work into it. I really like the design myself but would like other's opinions as well. One person said it should look more "fun and professional" but I'm not sure how to do that.

Neat idea that's off to a good start.

There are a few things that you need to take in consideration though:

Real time stats/poll updates as they come available in the news.
Categorization of issues/topics - THEN add the comments.
Think about drilling down to state or even local issues and quote officials to let users comment on their local issues.

Give the site some sort of background, make it a bit more visual. Just text comments alone are not attractive. The Logo is actually quite neat, center it. Also, center the rep/dem logos on top of their sections.

Overall, great idea! Did you write the code yourself or is it a template?

Regarding categorization, it would not be too difficult to add but I'm not sure on the categories. I'll have to think awhile about this.

Regarding local issues. A user can post about any local issues they want and any link can be commented on. Maybe this can be a part of categorization.

When you say give the site some sort of background, do you mean color or images? I don't want it to be difficult to read or seem cluttered. Please elaborate.

Why do you say center the logo? This site has it left justified also?

Nope, no template. I've been programming the whole thing myself.

I went ahead and added some background color, an image on the header, and some bordering.

Still working on all the other stuff.

Hi the logo is really good. It looks very elegant. but the body colour not matching to the logo. you have great content. but a different lay out might look more attractive. There is lot of test. may be few pictures can bright up things for you. All the best
