It's my tech blog.

Got some feedbacks from other forums but people keep asking me to change it to a bright theme rather than the current black one which btw I really like.

I have followed a few suggestions and made the texts brighter than before and it did look better. However don't quite want to change the theme.

I think so people mostly like white themes on such a blog but its not looking that much bad with black too specially when you yourself like it a lot .. You can change your header to a better one though .. Everything looks nice there btw

Review

When building a site it is not going to be about you. You shouldn't be making a site to only please you. You should be pleasing your audience, which is basically what a website is made for. And your audience is saying for a brighter site. Whether or not you want to change it is your choice.

I personally believe a brighter homepage is more uplifting than a dark page. If your trying to convince someone, go for a brighter site.

I like your site. Its got plentiful of articles. and the layout is good too.

Though at first i didn't even notice your search bar. I thought it was a magnifying glass. try to brighten it a little more. Your email subscribing thing should also be on top . Just seems more logical Also try to lessen the amount of articles on your page. A homepage is there to get your point out. Put a few of your best articles out on display and hide the rest. I sure don't want to scroll for 20 minutes.

I really the bottom of your page. It seems so slick and professional. Well done.

Hi, thanks you two, Jacklin and blaznspads. A lot peers on other forums give me the same advice over and over. I thought it's time to take some action.

I did like the black theme a lot, but as long as my visitors don't buy it I'll change it.

So here it is. I've done a grand redesign of the theme and inverted all colors.

Well it first occurs to me that it is a little childish and frivolous the colors are a little naive...

I personally want to suggest you something ... Your design surely looks good but sometimes you have to design according to your niche and this kind of design look more nearer to some kind of arts or personal website and your website is about web development so i think so its not working out
