Please help! Newbie dilemma on taking a bid on Sedo

I got an offer for a 1 hyphen domain on Sedo for $1000. I previously had an offer for $6000 via personal contact but no follow through. i've had a few other offers, so I know there is some interest.

Considering that its a hyphen domain should I take (and let sedo take too...) or hold out and try some auctions?
