Please Help...Joomla Upload Pic, and Comment Page help needed...

I really need someones help.
On the site I am creating, I want what seems like it should be simple, but it is kicking my A#* tonight...lol
I want a button on my site (made with Joomla), at the Top Menu to be a button labelled pix. I want people to be able to upload their pix, and also have those pix...commentable from other registers Users.
Could anyone hold my hand and possibly walk me thru it.
I would greatly appreciate it!

Sorry about this rookie question but this is my first Joomla site.

I am not sure if this is a simple article,
or module, or, plug-in, etc.
I just need to add a page that will allow users to upload pix,
and also will allow others to comment on those pix.
I would really appreciate anyones help.
