Well im new to the domain world but looking forward to what it may bring. I would like your HONEST opion (meaning please dont take advantage of the new guy) on my domain of 123moneytree.com Right now I have 50 domains and planning to buy monthly.

Just wondering if this is good as I have a lot of domains with "phrases" or catchy wording. Any help would be great.

Welcome to the "Domain Game" :)

I don't personally see any real value in your domain. It just seems random... but that's my 2 cents. This looks reg fee to me.

I like the domain, but would not enjoy the C&D letter that will be sure to find it's way to your mail box in the coming days.
:td:

Not much value, I think...... Reg fee only if undeveloped....

So reg fee = the amount I paid for it?

Also this is not a copyright problem as i do not know any business with this name. Moneytree is a term.

Correct, it's a term, but it's also a company that has a TM on their name. The question is just whether the MoneyTree name is TM'd or the whole wording ... review it Here
Even if it's the whole term of moneytree software, you're going to attract their attention at some point in time, thus: reg.fee

Really?

MoneyTreeInc.com - This is the one I would be concerned about.
MoneyTree.com
MoneyTreeMortgage.com

Doing a search before hand can save money and hassle that comes along with a C&D letter.

MoneyTree is actually a huge lender and lead generator in the mortgage industry. They advertised heavily over the last few years with silly commercials with a catepillar.

They are a very large company. And I would definetly expect a C&D letter as they do much of their business online and from their brand name.

BTW - If you are brand new to the game, I would slow down on your registrations right off the bat. 50 is a lot to a new domainer. It could get to become an expensive lesson until you learn how to find solid and good caliber names, as well as learning what to avoid.

Just my thoughts,
Justin

Imho upon MoneyTree C&D is probable indeed, but not sure. Moneytree on Mamma.com shows something interesting. In the US Trademark office there are per today 17 Moneytree registrations. Maybe it would be wise to check what and how the others did, and perhaps there's room for another 17. Also, if You are new, You should never confound domains with webs - Domain value is not web value. Domain people keep on evaluating domains upon parameters as ranking, backlinks, hits, keywords, etc. while that has only to do with the web and not with the domain. If You buy a well-ranked etc. domain and You redesign the web it is almost certain all ranking etc. changes. Anyway, everybody puts his/her own price on a domain. There are no appraising standards. There is plenty good advice on the www but also lots of crap (strategy or just stupidity).
Success!

Thanx for all the advise. Your opions are good and I know I jumped in head first hahaha. As far as more domains in the future maybe it is wise to slow down. Once I get an idea i go forward 100mph so maybe I need to just sit in the parking lot and idle a bit.

For now, this is the best advice you could come up with. Take it slow -- don't jump "head-first" just yet. Make some sales and learn the ropes. Going at 100mph can be a bad thing; don't slam into a wall ie spend your life savings on domains until you start making a profit (or money, in general) from them.
