I think the "the" in the name seriously detracts from the value. $0 - $50 though its a .com. And the name has fantastic branding potential, though all other extensions are available, and on this occasion i think a .co sounds nicer with this wording.
I do think $50 is taking the mickey a bit and i do really like the domain. Its just with the other extensions being untaken... its a great name for a business which could turn global maybe a franchise. I just dont know to be honest I like the domain its not bad. Lets face it Italians make the best pizza.
The "the" kills it, in my eyes. ItalianPizza would be worth thousands of dollars, but unfortunately the "the" makes this one a little awkward. It's not a horrible name, but I think most resellers wouldn't pay more than high $xx, if that.
As a rule of thumb for domains unless it is part of the actual name or brand adding "the" to a domain kills it's value. if not everyone would be registering every popular word and just add "the" in front of it.
The "the" factor on this is ok I think. I can imagine that on an radio/tv advert that it would be the MOST emphasized word.
"Its not just an Italian Pizza...its THE Italian Pizza".
But hey, Im new to this so I may be wrong.
