I registered a handful of domains in both of these formats right about a year ago. I never sent out any enduser emails on them, but had no luck selling through any domain forums. One potential $20 sale through the local craigslist that backed out before paying.

I put a small noomle site up on one and have received some $1+ clicks. I'm keeping the one with the minisite and 1 or 2 others that I will build on. The rest I'm letting drop.

In my experience over the past year, the value is in developing these, resale value is hard to find for Canadian cities in this format and of this calibre.

Recently, I saw a sale listed on dnjournal; CalgaryCanada.com for somewhere around $3,000 I believe, but Burlington is no Calgary.
