Hi all,

I just started buying domain names a few weeks ago.. I've been told that I'm unable to sell for 60 days -- is that correct?

If that is the case, what is the best thing for me to do with my domains in the meantime? Put up a one-pager, park them, or what?

I've already published basic sites on a couple of them, and I've included rss feeds whenever I can. Will this help with search engines?

Any advice for a 'domain rookie' who is just starting out? So far I've purchased .com TLD's only... I think I have a couple of decent ones, but not certain -- any comments on that?

Your domains appear to be with Godaddy. You can "push" the domain to another Godaddy account during the first 60 days, but you cannot transfer the domain to another registrar (such as Namecheap) until the 60 days have passed.

You can definitely sell the domain and push it to another user's Godaddy account with no problems.

EDIT: Your names are decent, I don't think they're worth thousands or anything but you can definitely sell them for more than you paid for.

Also godaddy ALWAYS has coupons, you can get a .com for $7.49 instead of the $11.xx they list on their website.

Would you recommend parking domains, or am I better off developing something to put on them?

I've started building something for unusualcars.com, and hope to have it up before I go to bed tonight -- however, if it turns out that I'd be better off parking the domains, I'd have no problem pulling the plug on my project for tonight.

unusualcars.com would develop nicely. XX I remember seeing someone attach grass seeds to there vw bug and then water them, let me see if i can find a pic.

I think I'd prefer to hang on to them and build something if all I could get was $XX, as I do like the names.

I like KinkyNames.com for the purpose which johname mentioned, I'm using a similar name but with a bit less class for my adult portfolio.

Sure it's kinda adultish but I don't see any harm in posting such a name in the general forum and not digging too deeply into it myself.
