If you have a name that you want to develop and you have an ability to do so (meaning you aren't infringing on anyone elses trademarks or copyrights), then do it and forget about what anyone else says can't be done. Then do your SEO (search engine optimization) homework and promote it.

Timings does not seem like it would have a lot of type-in traffic, which is why you are getting answers like "get your money back."

This is an exciting time for .mobi as many corporations are starting to register and develop them, but even so .mobi is in its infancy, celebrating it's first birthday on the 26th of September. It could be sold, but most advice is to hold on to your names for awhile.

The "s" kills it. Unless of course you are going to develop, in which case it could be good.
