domain Please Appraise mirrors.us, soundsystems.us

Hi guys any thoughts on what these are worth. Mirrors.us and soundsystems.us are both registered since 2002 when .us went public.

Anyone have any ideas? really interested on what people think about these. They seem like pretty generic product domains to me but theyre just .us and all.

mirrors is a nice name.
.us is harder to sell than let say net and org from my experience.
i would say xxx - xxxx is possible from the right buyer.
I would search for endusers and offer xxxx

I agree. Mirrors has 2 things going for it. Its aged and its a nice keyword. The only thing that hurts it is the extension. You may not get the return you expect if you just sell the name itself. If I were you I would create a small affiliate site selling different types of mirrors. The .us extention tends to rank well sometimes in the us market with the right content. With the right development, this name could be worth some decent cash. IMHO

Hey thanks so much this really helps me out a lot. That's kind of what I was thinking it could be worth but I wasn't sure at all. I'm gonna try to do that though i've already started trying to look for end users a little I wasn't sure what to ask at all before though. Any advice on where to start with when contacting them with a price like very low xxxx to low or mid or something.

Hey thanks so much for the advice that's a really good idea. I've tried to learn how to start affiliate sites before though but I have trouble knowing where to relly start. Have you made any before do you have any advice on a good system to use or guide by chance (unfortnately i can't use amazon). Do most domainers who do this learn to do it themselves it seems like itd take a long time to set one up by finding each product yourself and adding it and all.

I would use mirrors for my name servers. I think it is a great name hard to put a big value on name of name servers but xxx.

It will be tough to sell either to a reseller for more than mid $xx. .Us is really out of favor at the moment with most domainers. Tons of good .US names are selling for $38 at Bido.

Anything is possible for an end user price but a think the sweet spot for these would be mid to high $xxx.
