.US domains.US domains
Zero.

Avoid domains registered under TLDs other than .COM, .ORG and .TV. The .NET is pretty much dead. The .US died a few years ago. I would recommend grace deleting all of these registrations and taking some time for self-reflection.

Consider the domaining business like any other business. There is a lottery buyer mentality that has bled over into this business. Instead, a traditional business approach is MUCH more effective. In no other business can a seller buy a product for $7.00 and sell it for $700, yet for some reason 95% of new domainers operate in this fashion. A 50% annual return is more than optimistic. Therefore if you want to make mid $x,xxx a year you will need to invest a minimum of low $xx,xxx.

I would recommend taking a few weeks off and perhaps reevaluating your entire portfolio. Make sure nothing autorenews and make yourself a rule that you will not buy or register another domain until you sell (for a profit) a domain that you already own. Then use the proceeds from that sale to purchase even better quality names and continue to improve the names and build the portfolio by rolling over revenue. Stop throwing good money after bad.

In this way you can regain an objective mindset and disciplined business objective.

The middle one, I feel you could find an ebay used game seller that would pay you mid xx for it, so ill give that as its base value. The others are grace delete able if there fresh regs. Goodluck

Thanks for your opinions. Just curious though...

What exactly do you base your opinions on? According to domaintools, 1 sale this month on Sedo for a .TV, and about 30 .NET sales listed, majority in $xxxx

I'd agree .US is a hard sale, I'd disagree it's completely worthless, famo.us $25k last month. (If it's a true sale)

Agreed.

Done this, sold Kweersdotcom for mid $xx, got "Regfee" and 'Zero' on the forum.

Then use the proceeds from that sale to purchase even better quality names and continue to improve the names and build the portfolio by rolling over revenue. Stop throwing good money after bad.

I'm not offended by your post but you tend to come across as "If you're not dealing 1-word generic .com's worth $xx,xxx, delete everything you own."

If you consistantly deal $xx,xxx domains, more power to you, but understand that's not the case for everyone though, especially just starting out in the business. Sometimes when people post for an appraisal they're fine with reading a $xx - $xxx opinions (which is realistic if pitched to the right enduser.)

Every day thousands of domains are sold $xx-$xxx, market. If these domains merit a delete, I am sincerely curious as to what it is exactly would be worth $xx-$xxx in your opinion, I'd love to see some examples.

Thanks again!

My advice will work at all levels. I use it for other products too with success. The principles can be applied to any level from $100/yr to $1,000,000/yr and to any product. Domains, cars, pool cues, guitars, etc., etc.

I find that most people here keep buying and buying and do little selling. I'm just saying that if you're not selling anything there is something terribly wrong. And if you're not using the proceeds from sales to invest in new domains, then you're throwing good money after bad.

The domain market is consolidating not expanding. And in my viewpoint, the total number of domains registered will fall drastically over the medium and long term. If the objective it solely profit, then the time has passed for capitalizing on the business of registering domains and selling them to end users. That business is almost dead.

Probably the absolute worst thing to do during these times is to invest in TLDs like .NET and .US. IMO.
