hi,

i just reged gamerspot.net and was wandering about the potential worth of this name, i was thinking of making a gamers review site where gamers can write their own reviews on games and maybe add a little forum.

been thinking of adding some award wining competitions like the review that gets the most votes wins a prize like a new game or some gamer equipment.

what do u guys think? if u can appraise a price on this name it will be great

try to invent unique keywords, that dont compete with allready well-established sites within your chosen niche - especially when those sites have trademarks in place.
try to get a refund if you can.

i dont see tm issue here, game and gamer are 2 different words and gamerspot is not a registered tm, am not goin for miss spell with the r in the end, the idea is to make the gamers a part of this site and maybe even earn some money/gear in the process with a social side to it, something like facebook but for gamers

When I first saw this domain name, I thought GameStop, then I looked at it again and thought, should it be gamers spot? But the two s' wouldn't do good together. It also looks like gamers pot because I would think the gamer should be plural.

Gamer Spot only has 260 Monthly Searches so the domain would be best marketed as a brand. Probably similar to the [gamespot] dot com website.
