first one :

privacycontrol.eu - 852 milion searches of keywords

youlikeit.eu - 2,1 bilion searches of keywords

What´s your opinion? Aren´t .EU domains worthless?

Hi Drewid,

I wouldn't say .eu domains are worthless, .eu sales are being made.
The results you mentioned is not the real results for this keyword combo "privacy control".

Here are the actual results for this phrase.
You need to put your keywords in quotes "keyword keyword"

I personally wouldn't see direct value in your domains but then again i see .eu domains being sold from which i would have thought the same.

Develop PrivacyControl.eu into an actual website (haven't checked if it is already) into a site about privacy control, surfing on the net, proxies, privacy cleaner tools, etc

And perhaps at a later stage you could sell the site and the domain for $XXX.XX

Good luck.

Thx for answer. I know that those search result i wrote are for the plain, divided words. But still they seems interesting :) I think today is quite difficult to find some single domain name wich has lots of M results.

But i will wait, work and try. :)

system says:
privacycontrol.eu USD 9
youlikeit.eu USD 151

I would not pay 151 for latter, but maybe there's some hidden value that I can't grasp immediately!

eu is a mystery tld right now IMO

Thx, but your system seems quite strange - not in this particular case, but in general. Business is still made between 2 seller and buyer. And if the buyer REALLY wants the goods that seller owns he will pay for it. I think it´s very difficult to get 100% sure appraisal of such an abstract thing as domain name (or just "name") is. Still the investitons are few $, but revenue could be even M$ . From my opinion is the only thing that influences final price of domain the buyers "will to pay" and his budget. Nothing else.
But domain names have one big advantage - are uniqe. In the world there could be just 1 domain with the same name and extension. And with every second are tons of domains registered. So theroteically, even absolutely stupid domain should be worth of M$ it needs just time. Few decades and we all will be milionares :imho:

That´s my opinion. Waiting for yours :hehe:

Your offcourse right, you can never give an appraisal that is a 100% correct, unless your in all the endusers pockets / heads.

But then again, they arent giving enduser values, their giving resell values, which means what they would pay, or they think other domainresellers would pay.

Good luck,
Andree

I agree completely. Please see http://www.namepros.com/1962617-post10.html for some explanation

From my opinion is the only thing that influences final price of domain the buyers "will to pay" and his budget. Nothing else.

Then why are you seeking appraisals? :)

My personal (non-machine) appraisal of your name is that the keyword is nice, but the extension is not suitable.
EDIT: sorry got confused with threads

I would not personally pay the 151 bucks my system apparently would, but I sincerely hope you'll find someone who will pay more!

Good luck with your name,
Josh

Thx for response !

Is the statistic of how much domains is registered every day available somewhere on the net ? If yes, we just could divide the number of all possible domain names with the number of daily registered domains and then we will got the result when our "normal" domain become a "milion prize" domain

But i think that with numbers of extensions, words, languages and numbers it will last really, really long time

The backlinks are much appreciated by Jon as it helps him in his war on stupid ebooks that the net is being flooded with.

Too many crap is being sold by people claiming they are some sort of Guru or Expert.

Just supporting the cause :)
