Please advise on money transaction

folks,

say i sold a domain name to the person martin. all negotations happend though the messanger.
now both agreed for a sale. so my question is weather i should transfer the domain to his account first or first i should get the money and then do the transfer? mean time if he demand that i should transfer the domain first how can i convince him?

Get the money first. There are too many complaints on forums where people have pushed domains before payment, and then not got payment.

The best solution for both parties is escrow transaction, where the escrow service takes control of the domain and the funds. (ie. Sedo)

I agree with the above, for both the buyer and seller's protection, use escrow service like escrow.com, that way all involved parties will be happy.
