The Jacksonville, Florida-based writer purchased the rights to BenedictXVI.com on April 1 -- more than two-and-a-half weeks before Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger announced that he would assume the papacy under the name of Benedict XVI.

I think this is mainly due to the media he got from his blog /press release kind of thing. I strongly doubt that it is natural type in traffic.

Look at the term "john paul" in overture, the naming logic should be about the same for this pope.

Of course the dude could be talking nerd and be talking actual "hits" rather than uniques.
