Hello everyone,
Our company, PolurNET Communications, currently uses a custom-coded billing system/interface for invoicing our clients. Although it's working very well, we'd like to add more features to it, and make it even better than it is.
Demo: http://members.polurnet.com/billing
--> Username: test
--> Password: demo
Now, here is what we'd like to add to the billing system:
1) View Past Invoices/Invoice History tool:
As it is right now, all invoices are listed for a client, and there is no cutoff number. Thus, we'd like to keep maybe maximum 2 invoices (the newest two), and the rest may be seen when the user clicks a new option called "Invoice History" in the menu.
Invoice information is stored in a MySQL Database table, and has enough information to be able to easily sort out via php.
2) View Unpaid invoices:
Similar to above, except only show outstanding invoice balances. This will be a menu option, but not enabled by default. By default, the top two invoices should be shown (as mentioned above).
There is a column in the database invoice table that has a value of "paid/unpaid". Thus it should not be hard to do.
3) Automatic Reoccurring Billing Notification
Currently, we have to manually notify customers when new invoices are added, and we actually have to use the database itself to add invoices (the admin interface is there, but not complete). We'd like a module where invoices will be automatically generated (depending on what type of payment plan is selected for the customer [stored in database]), and an email with a specific format that we provide to be sent to the customer about 4-5 days in advance. If the invoice is not paid on the day it's due, another email notification should be made, this time to both the admin, and to the customer. This is only for monthly customers, and yearly customers should be separate.
-------------
For the above, we're looking to pay up to a max of $40-50 USD (paypal) to a programmer who has the following qualifications:
- Advanced Knowledge in BOTH PHP and MySQL
- Can program independently, and responsibly to meet the deadline, and not procrasinate or decide in the last minute to quit
- Can handle the above tasks, possibly because he/she has previous experience in other scripts (a portfolio or examples of other scripts programmed would be great)
- Has motivation, TIME, and willing to help complete the goals.
We're looking for a rather early deadline, at least by the end of this week or next week. (first week of July).
Therefore, please post here , or PM, or email info[at]polurnet.com with qualifications or experience, and your estimated completion time. We'd also like a programmer who can report progress or at least show work is being done throughout the project.
This shouldn't be too difficult, but I know it can be hard to work on a script that you've never seen before (since ours is custom). Hopefully it will be easy to follow.
Thanks in advance!
We will decide as soon as we find the right person.
Cheers,
Anand
