domain Photography .com's valued at $15,000+

Just picked up these photography related domain names recently... I'd like to hear what you think of them. Are they worth millions, thousands, hundreds or just cents/pennies!

Estibot seems to like them, valuing them quite highly. I know in reality they probably wouldn't get as much as they are valued (unless i get really lucky)! But how far off do you think Estibot is? Please give me your valuations.

Estibot Valuation: $12,000

- PolaroidPhotography .com
not sure if this has a trademark issue... got any ideas? if no tm, then what do you think this could be worth?
Estibot Valuation: $1,500

- ScaryPhotography .com
lots of people into "scary" photography. ie spirit photography and creepy grave yard / tunnel photography.
Estibot Valuation: $770

- PlantsPhotography .com
if this didn't have an "s" in there it would be worth a lot more... i know! but what do you think of it as a plural?
Estibot Valuation: $2,800

- LolitaPhotography .com
brandable as a photography company name dealing with modeling/glamor photography... maybe also as an adult type photography site?!
Estibot Valuation: $1,300


Please note, I didn't buy these based on the Estibot valuations alone. I'm a photographer myself so these appeal to me anyway. But as non-photographers I'd like to see what you guys think... guesstimate resell values and end-user values for me please. Many thanks.

Yes you're right... not sure why I had those lower figures before... I think I did a fast appraisal which isn't always as accurate as the normal one.

Anyway.. post updated and rep added for pointing that out.

So anyone with any valuations for these? Come on... spare me a minute or two... please!

you can't really go by estibot apprasials. I've found domains that were valued at 5,000+ on estibot, that turned to 30,000+ on estibot after I registered them. I wouldn't trust their figures are the alogrithm it uses. It's all about demand...
none of these keywords are really in demand.

I looked on google's adword tool and here's what it
said on how much the words together are searched for:
Nubile Photography gets on average 210 searches a month.
Polaroid Photography gets on average 170 searches a month.
Scary Photography gets on average 390 searches a month.
Plants Photography gets on average 390 searches a month.
Lolita Photography wasn't listed on there so I assume it gets 0-10 searches a month.

It's so helpful with finding domains that get a lot of search traffic!

Mid $x to low $xx on each.

Except Lol*taPhotography, which is $0. That term has been blacklisted. Credit card processing, affiliate programs and even Google AdWords won't allow it.

PolaroidPhotography may be interesting if there is a community large enough to support development, but obviously then the value is in the development.


If these where ___photos.com instead, that would be an entirely different story. It's like ___cars.com vs. ___automobiles.com.

Thanks for both your appraisals. Very informative and helpful. Rep added to you both. I'm glad to see some good appraisals here, makes a difference to the usual "regfee" posts which don't really help much.

PolaroidPhotography is a trademark issue and LolitaPhotography is really close to something that would be watched by the Government, that'd be a real tough sell and you probably wouldn't sell it at all
