And what happens when the spacebar breaks? Or when you spill on the keyboard a full glass of soda?

Great idea but not sure it's the key.

Haha, reminds me of the old Acorn computers we had in primary school...damn they were slow, I don't think they even had a hard drive :D

That one does look really nice though! Not too bad pricing either, from $575 (http://www.cybernetman.com/default.cfm?DocId=616)

Nice find :)

Nice design, but the keyboard will probably be very hot and loud.

Perfect for LANs though :tu:

That's the problem with all in one designs.. I had a similar concern with my Canon Navigator back in the day.

Very cool! I wish I could afford one of those, but like labrocca mentioned, it would be rather devastating if something was spilled on it.

Nice idea, but the keyboard is abit huge! :o

if someone submits this to Digg, i bet some Apple Fan Boy will say "Yeh, well, Mac has computers built into monitors", and a Mac v Windows debate will start...

Just like every story on there.

I've worked on some of those. They're crap.

That's an interesting case format. However, I will just stick with a traditional notebook computer format. My next computer will probably be an Apple MacBook.

Seems neat, but I'd damage it quickly...

After a year my keyboards are all icky and time for a replacement. I don't think I could replace that so easily

My problem is the letters on the keys wear off in short order.. what they could do with this is make it small but modular.. maybe they could have each part snap in and replaceable.

To be honest, to me it looks like it's part of a cut-up laptop...

Why not just get a laptop, if desktop real estate is a problem? If you don't have the cash, then sell the other things on your desktop hogging all the space. Besides, cheap laptops are already available. Dell sells one for $699 from their website; Gateway has one for A$629; and HP's cheapest is at $449.

IMO it is actually cheaper to stick with desktops anyway, though to be fair the last laptop I had always messed up, but since I don't travel around too much, I've got no need to get a laptop again.

Wow, that is crazy. But just like others have stated what happens when the keyboard stops working, lol.
