domain Parrot.im Appraisal

Hello all,
I would love any input on a value of this (Parrot.im) domain.

The .IM domain is heavily used when it comes to the world of online chatting.
I see this domain being used for either a chat application or just your 'Parrot' brand.

To difficult to find an enduser for this one but credit due for your innovative ideas, it's just .im is not 'A pretty Boy' then.

To find a value in this domain you would have to first ask yourself "Who could use this and in what market?". I find this one a difficult sell since more that likely a market for the name would be hard to find.

Shot in the dark, Reg fee-mid $xx.

There is no value in this name....the Isle of Mann has a population of around 70K so not much of an end-user base to work with

I owned a premium keyword .IM name a few years ago and couldn't even sell it on here for $20

I have sen plenty of other good keywords on here (in .IM) and they just end up exiring

Parrot is not a premium keyword either so you will struggle to sell it

Cut your losses with this one

I agree with the other members said. However, there are a few good .im reported sales at Namebio and the exact match "parrot" sales with other extensions are not bad also. So if you get lucky, who knows? You could get high $xx to low $xxx or even a bit better. It might take long...

Thanks for the list, it's quite a few, some apps more known than others.
But if they settled for a .im domain, I think it is because the keyword was available for regfee (which is still rather high in this ccTLD). It doesn't mean they would buy a .im at aftermarket price, from a domainer. See what I mean ?
Just had a look dnsaleprice, at first glance I don't see any chat-related domains in the list of reported sales. Specifically, none of the domains you quoted are in that list either. Assumption: all are regfee purchases.
