Parking with Sedo

I wanted to mention that parking your domains with Sedo can result in some surprises like having the page your name is redirected to make your name an avenue to adult and pornographic websites. Apparently they weren't considering what the owner's original idea or description would have otherwise preferred. I would have preferred Momsbestsecrets.com to be related to a nurturing more loving relationship to infant care, moms best recipes, family tips and values etc. Or NorwayForLife.com redirects to a page with Chinese hyperlinks. I am confused being new to this and do we not need to protect ourselves from what people will think when they click or search these names. After all isn't branding your niche with a great Domain Name where it's at or is parking just what ever they think it should mean. Please let me know or pass on some good advice if you can.
Thanks

Good point and same bad experience here. Some of the parked domains are even flagged as malware.
I don't see a way around to manually finetune the parking category and check what Sedo brings up.

you could contact them and ask them to turn zero-click off for your account. Zero-click is what actually shows all those irrelevant ads

concerning the 'moms' domain, I have found that anything containing 'moms' has a good chance to be flagged as adult by G for some very very weird reason

If your domain has indeed been flagged as adult, you should try some other parking services (like Voodoo, bodis, etc.) since the guys there are very responsive and you can ask for them to contact G to change the status of your domain from Adult to Normal.

I also had some of my sites flagged as malware.
I had them (Sedo) take off the "Zero Click" and then had to resolve the site still being flagged as "malware" with Google. Once I got that taken care of... I took the names out from Sedo's care.

I would have thought they would have taken better care of (our) names and vetted the ads in which are displayed on our sites better. I didn't like the idea of having to do work for them, having my domain names threatened by the registry. So I pulled many of my names.

Those names that are still parked there, I have seen a substantial drop in revenue(s).
I do not have the names parked for specifically the revenue reason, but it was rather nice seeing some numbers associated with the names.

Anyway, "Zero Click" is your issue. You have to contact Sedo and tell them directly to disable "Zero Click". It has been my experience that you will see any revenues drop because of this.
If your site is still flagged as malware, that will need to be resolved with Google.

Cheers

Where did you take your names to ?!!! I'm looking for place to park my domains , so what would you recommend ,?!!! I have like 4 domains now , I know that is not even a micro portfolio looool but this how I work . The names you left them parked with sedo , did you leave them for traffic-testing /exposure, or for other reasons?!!
