Parking Question - Any idea how to do this?

Hey everyone,
I bought a domain which currently is developed but having some big issues with the site. What I want to do is to park it (I made a good deal when buying it). The thing is, that the most of the traffic comes from sites using an image which have a link back to the site i bought.

What I want to do is:
Change DNS to the parking page but if I do that, the image which sends a lot of traffic, will be offline which will mean I will loose traffic..

So is there any solutions for this? Can I change DNS and still have the image hosted and "online" so I keep the traffic from the the sites using the image?.

Ahh, a bit hard to describe what I want to do but hopefully someone understands what I mean :)

Could a url forward work?

Thanks everyone!

Sure this can be done through redirection or rewrite, or even through iframes with the right parking company.

I had run into this same situation. You won't be able to do it with some parking services because they insist on having the nameservers set to their site. I know bodis is like that and I have heard the same of parked though I haven't tried them personally.

Here's the code I use to foreward to sedo. Just replace both instances of domainname.tld with your domain name.
Code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
<HTML>
<HEAD>
	<META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">
	<TITLE>domainname.tld</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<FRAMESET rows="100%,*" border=0 frameborder=0 framespacing=0>
	<FRAME name=top src="http://www.sedo.com/parking/domainname.tld" noresize>
</FRAMESET>
</HTML>

Thanks guys!
Would prefer using bodis.com but I guess that's impossible then?

Its only achievable through framed or url redirect. Not possible with nameserver.

I don't know if this is allowed by the Bodis terms & conditions or not, so please check before doing it. I'm only addressing the technical details.

You need your domain (example.com) and another domain which is on Bodis (example.net).

You need a DNS you can create arbitrary A records on.

Get the address that Bodis has for its pages. The windows command "nslookup www.example.net" will tell you this.

Set up your domain so www.example.com is on some hosting you control & ww2.example.com is at the address you found from nslookup above.

On example.com use the script Blaknite gave, except that the src for the frame is ww2.example.com

If Bodis changes its addresses (e.g. on changing to a bigger server) it won't be able to automatically make your site move to the new server so you'll need to periodically check to see if address of example.net has changed and adjust the DNS accordingly.

If you can guarantee that example.net will always be on Bodis (e.g. you control both domains) you can make ww2.example.com a "cname" for example.net and save the need for the periodic checking

Parked allows redirection but am not sure if that fits into their policy...Just shoot an email to your account manager and check if that could be done...If it can then parked could make you a good revenue than any other
