I have a few names I have bought, some I will develop into sites and some are investments. Anyway so I decide to park them at Sedo but I dont really know what I am doing. I have parked them but I am strugglign with the more advanced side of thing and Sedo seems to be more focused on domain selling rather then parking anyway. Anyway what is the best free parking service for pretty low traffic sites? I know sedo is popular but is it any good?

Considering you only own few domains, you are very lucky to have a site like sedo to provide the feed needed for you to make money from... a free service SEDO is the best one so far...

I have researched the PPC industry for 2 years now, conclusion - Sedo is the best available free ppc company. Example, parked.com click = 1 cent, same domain with no optimization earned 88 cents.

GoDaddy cashparking earned me $30 a month compared to Sedo $15 a month......

for individuals like you, Sedo is the best choice.

Keep up the good work and focus hard and learn from the forum activity, see what sells and what ends up being trashed..... few years go by! and you own 10 000 !

My experience with SEDO is that the RPC is pretty suckish. If you have at least 10 domains I'd check out Parked.com (although I hear they're not accepting new applications, atm). Or you can check out NameDrive. It really depends on what type of domain it is though. Certain domains do better at certain parking companies.

I own 300+ Domains, trust me... Sedo is the best performer in the last 6 months...

99.98% of ppc companies pay 1 - 3 cents - compared with sedo I got back $.50 to $1 a click!

Mir, if you have 300+ domains, then are you with Sedo Pro? He wouldn't be able to get in with just a few domains.

All I know is that I had an adult domain (pretty high traffic) at sedo, and I moved it over to ND and then Parked and got better results at both of the other 2.

My experience with Sedo parking has not been good - very few visitors an very few clicks and very little interest from Sedo and also no interest as yet from my domains listed for sale - it could be of course that my names are poor - I have found Parked to be the most helpful - Donny actually seems to take an active interest in his business and he posts here one Namepros regularly - unfortunately revenue has dropped off in the last few months from being low to now being almost non-existent - but there are apparently people making $20K a day at Parked ! (see the Parked thread)
Namedrive has the best templates IMHO and is the easiest to use - revenue will depend a lot on the type of names you have (don't forget you're not allowed to promote your names in any way) - but it will generally be low so don't expect anything great unless you have spent a few hundred bucks buying established names from someone else.
You can sign up with as many parking companies as will accept you and try them out - but most have lower limits - I think Namedrive accepts people with only a few names and I've even got an affiliate number so if you want to apply to ND I can give you it
Overall at the moment parking is not an easy option and if you know how to develop websites then that may be a better route to take

Sedo sucks unless you are in sedo pro. You would be much better off with namedrive. Better looking landers. Better service.

And it pays in euros!
In my domains at Sedo I have a 14 euro cents average per click.

This is true. Right off the bat you have the fact that some companies use Google feeds where others use Yahoo feeds. That fact alone is going to make a difference in how well a site converts.

The problem is, for a newbie who is working with names that aren't top notch, his options are going to be limited. It may not be, which parking company will give me bigger returns, but will parking or development increase my bottom line?

I would park some at Sedo and some at Namedrive (free) and just see how you go, if one does a lot better for you, you can always moved all the names there
