I pick domains on expireddomains.net,

I have used several filter option to select the domain,

Hope to get some high quality traffic domains.

but it's disappointing that is these domain's Alexa Rank are very Obsolete.

So, there are no value for these domains.

Do you think it?

Imagine a vertical filter with many layers to separate seeds from ground, dust and crap. Well, on expireddomains.net you only can find the crap and dust with no value.
If you want to find good domains for parking, you must search on the top filters, where you can still find seeds (or gems).

Go to Dynadot Or GoDaddy
If you bought say 10 domains for say 30 US $ ( considering each domain costed you alteast 3 $) from expireddomains dot net

then with the same amount you will be able to buy 2-3 domains from dynadot or go daddy with a sucess rate of 90 % which will return your money in a week.

Expireddomainsdotnet may have one in thousand domains which is like a gem that too if its missed from reseller as reseller register the domain before its drop. so there will be very few gems in expired domains dot net.
on top of that good domainers will be able to find them and register it as soon as possible so you will be left with junk.

I mean buying domains in pending delete, analising their backlinks before, or at godaddy closeouts, or even at Namejet, snapnames (pre-release or pending delete), etc. I've found good domains there that are performing good in parking.

Thanks for all the info guys! :hearts:

Concerning backlinks, it seems I'm not so good to find it. I registered a domain with 4,375 external backlinks. (majesticseo)

There is no traffic at all (maybe 1 or 2 uniques per day). Of course, I presume this tool isn't perfect but it seems very hard to find some good expired domains.

- I'm waiting for my first click - lol

However, I still have the faith to find a way to do some cash.

I guess smurge is trying to say: Quality of Backlinks. Backlinks from popular sites in the same niche as the expired domain.

I've learnt all I know (and it's not much, I consider myself a totally newbie) reading this thread iniciated by smurge. He is right: backlinks are the most important thing. And as you say sofiapartner, quality of backlinks and I add high CPC keywords.
I began using the same tools like you (majesticSeo, Alexa, etc), but for me are unusefull. I started analising domains that are not mine, but I know they are making good money on parking and try to determinate what they make valuable and what are the reasons to buy it.
I'm still making errors, but in 2-3 months I'm in the mid $XXX range monthly by parking domains.
Parking is not dead.

Exactly what I want to hear ;)

Yes, I think it's really a matter of time and experiences. I hope I'll be at your level in 2 - 3 months. :]

You pretty much hit it on the head with this post. Tools are tools, but it comes down to quality and finding the quality links. Sure it can be time consuming to find the money makers but its so rewarding when you do.

You also hit it on the head by reviewing domains that are doing good and trying to figure out why they are doing good.

You are on your way to a serious income and I'll be the first to say it.

100 backlinks from sites no one visits = Garbage! Id burn it at teh stake.

I'll take 1 backlink sitting on the front page of a good site before 100 backlinks on sites with no visitors.
