Parked XYZ domains. Is it worth it?

Hi guys, I have around 60 xyz domains parked on Bodis. They are getting many visits, but no clicks. Should I assume that only domainers check them out? Is it worth it to park XYZ domains? Do you get any clicks on XYZ domains?

Basically there´s a big issue with all todays classical parking companies. They use 2 click landers that aren´t adblocker ready, with contents on buttons, dominted by big G patterns, which are designed to earn the most revenue for big G, no matter what the end user / visitor is searching for. Parking is STILL dead my friends.

I don´t disagree, but those who is still getting paid from it isn´t the publisher anymore. It´s simply pointless for publishers with high-intent users from the US to burn their traffic on not adblock ready 2-clikc landers with stupid ads, point.

to many, there's always a "but"
but from my perspective, if they are really interested,
then one has to understand the "point" of ppc, regardless to or irrespective of, all the obstacles it presents.
my rationale is, any revenue that can provide sustainability to the portfolio without having to sell a domain from it or while waiting for offers, remains a benefit to one who earns $ from parking.

take it for what it is and utilize what you can from it.

Or a company like Afternic operates a parking business without paying the domain owners? That doesn't make sense, right?

i'm not trying to discourage you, i only asked a simple question:

have you ever seen anybody posting stats or claiming they got some clicks on afternic?

from reading posts of those who use afternic over the years, majority of them use "landers" instead of ppc pages.
i list names at afternic as well, but only a couple of domains are pointed to their nameservers.

so, when you speak of millions of users, consider those who use afternic,
but also consider those who don't point all their names there and those who use their nameservers, but only use landers without ads.

A domain isn´t a "jack of all trades device".

You must decide who you are. A seller or publisher?

I know nobody who can exploit 1 x domain for both interests in an ideal way.
Either you have a traffic domain with tons of high-intent users from the US - that can make the difference and some better $ if monetized in "the right way", but forget that you´ll sell it as you could sell a premium or a two-word-prime - don´t believe rumors! - or you´re a seller with a name that you don´t BURN in terms of Spam Score and you´re ready to let it go whenever an offer get in.

I personally have a STRICTLY segmentation of my portfolio.
1. domains for affiliate networks
2. domains for sale
3. domains for monetization networks
And all this, all along DESIGNED and intended, even before I grab or aquire a new name, I know whatfor I will use or exploit it. Everything else is "bad management" in my eyes.

as domain resellers, then in general, we've already decided to be "sellers".
publishing is just another option, for those who have capital or skillset.

as for exploiting 1 domain, sometimes that's all it takes to kickstart the motivation.
i've had 1 domain that earned 5 figuress in ppc
and
all a company/business may need, is that 1 good domain to set them apart from the crowd.

instead of pondering what you can't do with 1 domain.... think of what 1 domain could do

I´ve already wrote in my initial post that I´m monetizing 98% of my domains,
so I´m a publisher in first place. Selling is just a secondary passion and a not
the exciting part of it all for me personally. I also wrote already that I´ve never
had a premium or liquid domain.

Yes yes, I´m skilled enough to monetize my domains and NO, you don´t need
"capital" for monetization. On the contrary, thousand of great names for monetization
are worth 1 x liquid or premium in the lowest xxxx range. So it´s even visa versa,
if you have premiums and liquids for sale, since you´re describing you as.. seller or
reseller, and nothing more, than it´s YOU who has the capital! not me.

Gimme a break dude! the topic started all along if PARKING or not PARKING! Parking of .xyz names is the thread here, not "selling" or "reselling".

I guess some guys here are projecting a lot of things on their own ego

And.... since I´m the one who´s monetizing 98% of my domains (parking of course included), and not "selling and reselling and sellling and reselling...." it would be quite good to hear, instead of to speak sometimes.. as hard as it might be for someone.
