Sorry about the 404's, yes it will be available soon, when our new stats system is released in the next week or so.

Thanks for the update Donny. :tu: I will eagerly await the upgrade. Not knowing the who/what/where/when's surrounding my 404's is driving me nuts. :-/

I just wanted to make a comment, because I saw somebody said that "Parked was hacked". This person has posted basically the same message on multiple forums, the funny thing is if you really read it is says they had created a bunch of new accounts. Not that they had actually hacked anything.

We have hundreds of people who signup a day, and very few actually get approved. Most of them are these so called "hackers", but we stop 99.9% of their accounts from ever getting created and the few that do get created we normally find within 2-3 days.

We had alreay planned on rolling out a new signup system in a few weeks, now we may just roll it out sooner.

But there is nothing to worry about, no accout was hacked, just a bunch of broken English translations.

Thanks for addressing this. I had intended to PM you about it after I closed it, but got caught up in other duties.
The OP was banned waiting on proof of the claims, but we havent heard from him/her yet, and I doubt we will.

All is right with the world... carry on.

The only accounts that we have seen "hacked" in the past is people who use hotmail, yahoo mail, and especially gmail. Their email address is hacked somehow and they still have an email in their account from a parking company or from some registrar and then they go and request the password, te rest is history. This is why for over a year we didn't accept any free email accounts. We do accept them now, but it's the biggest issue that we have seen.

If you are going to use a free email account, please make sure that you use different passwords for your email and any affiliate/parking programs that you use. I personally have a unique password for every site, which makes it very hard to figure how how to hack any of my accounts. Recently a small forum that I had signed up for sent me an email telling me that they had been hacked and somebody had all of their usernames/passwords and emails. I knew 3 people who had their free email accounts hacked and 1 who had his pop3 account hacked because of this. So please, always use something unique. I have a good friend who runs one of the large security/flaw announcement sites (vbulletin has a cross site scripting bug, etc...), his password formula is pretty good as well, he always has 11 characters on his password, with the first 3 being a unique id for the site and the last 8 are always the same. Just another idea.

So no Parked accounts were hacked, but over the past year 5-10 accounts were taken over by somebody after their email was hacked.

Nothing to worry about, but we still have a plan to make things even stronger in the very near term.

There have been a HUGE number of AdWords accounts hacked in the past couple month, and a lot of them can be traced back to Gmail break-ins via weak passwords. You can't change it up too often, folks. Since I'm an old broad with only 1 Meg of memory (ork ork) I stash my passwords in locked files in various places, including a usb stick hidden on my person in such a way that if anyone *were* to get ahold of it, it would mean I was already dead and it wouldn't matter.

Wow... it's been quite sometime i never read this thread and when i do today, many things were happened. seemed that lately many people're getting 'mad' to parked.com. those whose applications were rejected, those whose accounts were suspended... so that many negative rumours around to shake the credibility of Donny's & team as well as parked.com...

perhaps Donny, you also need to anticipate the possibility that those 'dissapointed people' may also attack any other active parked members websites by making bunches of click frauds or anything like that (i don't know what else they could do to bring down someone's account at parked...). it is possible that once they find any parked.com website, they might click, send robot, or do any maliculous actions just to make other people suffer like him/her (got penalty from parked.com). you don't want to suspend those who're innocent, right.

Keep rocking parked.com!

Just an update the finalized stats are delayed as one of our providers does not have domain level reporting right now. We are hoping it will be resolved tomorrow.
