I was a bit of confuse with your 'no' answer, is that mean 'no' for not allowed to link one parked.com domain to another using custom content, or 'no' in the sense that this won't be effective to drive more traffic & revenue?

I think it's not up to Parked.com

2 click lander - when there isn't enough ads for given keywords or not specific enough.
1. click lander - specific keyword with enough ads.

It's decided by Yahoo.
Sometimes, you can make it happen by changing keywords.

Ok, maybe i'm not getting it:

In the customization field: When i use an "apostrophe", the output on the site is instead of: "Who's" - Who\'s. That's the output in FireFox.
In IE 7, the output is: "There\\\'s" instead of "There's".

Also, i tried to embedd an image in the custom content field, sized it to 163x202 and labeled it "Taxes". The output on the site is: \"Taxes\" without the visual.

Also, the changes to the custom fields, Editing domain title and Centering custom content don't seem to take.

I'm using FF 2.0.0.9. Cache cleared, tested on more than one machine, same results.
Now, there's quite a good chance that i'm messing something up. Feel free to step on my toes if i'm missing anything.

Any tips, hints, suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I don't think you're messing something up; I noticed this too. The quotes are being escaped, and some kind of a stripslash command has to be applied to remove the slashes.

PM me a traceroute and I can see what the problem might be, but all traffic seems to be normal right now.

parked.com itself is down for me for 12 + hours and none of my .ca domains work, but all my .info and .com's do. Odd

I customized a domain an hour ago including changing colours. Everything was OK then. Now I checked it and the colour scheme has changed and reverted back to the old colour scheme, yet on the editing page the correct colour scheme is still chosen

Anybody notice anything similar?

Can we upload sub domains on Parked.com? :wave:

I have a couple of domains that are generic keywords and if I create a sub domain of that keyword it helps to optimize.

Like, StateGuide, US it is better if it is CA.StateGuide, US or California.StateGuide, US

subdomains can not be set as they are technically, not domains. I only follow that rule, I didn't create it.

This could happen if you have a domain like boatloans.com and you set the keyword to "cancer attorney", we will in many cases change your keyword in this case, we also change keywords when they are not the right keyword as far somebody choose "the car wash" when it should really just be "car wash". Our job is to make our customers as much revenue as possible and this is one way that we do that.

Take my word for it, Parked has your best interests in mind.
My overall CTR with them is incredible for the names I keep there.

Don't know if this has been mentioned before. If it has, I apologise.

When we customise a domain, including changing the colours of the Template, why is it that the thumbnails of the 2 template pages allways show the previous colours instead of the new colour schemes that we have created.

Is this a difficult change to implement? because even though it's not an enormous pain in the Aztec, it would be much nicer to just hit edit and see immediatly how the present template actually looks like.

I just tried to make some colour changes on a domain that I had customized a week ago, and to my surprise the keyword and domain title had changed as well as my custom pics had gone. In other words it reverted back to how it was without customization.

I now re-changed the keyword to how I wanted it but it simply will not change the domain title. I've tried 8 times and every time it gives me the "thumbs up" but it does not change the name.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug in there?. I've noticed that on dozens of occasions saving alterations and having to repeat it 2-3 times before it gets truelly saved.

Edited: I can now do the changes that I could'nt do about an hour ago!

Are you refering to post 1516? I'm just reporting things that I feel could be improved. I mean if I change a template I think it should show up on the editing Page.

Gil - Yes, I was talking about 1516, I'm not even sure what you are saying could be improved. If you are talking about on the main edit page, those colors will never change and those 2 thumbnails are based on the original colors. If you are talking aout the 2 small websites than that's a different story. But I need to know exactly what you are doing that doesn't seem to be working correctly so I can reproduce it.
