A stats limiter that's a good one. I call this Donny fell asleep and didn't verify everything was back up 100%. The 8th should show up in about an hour or so.

My many trips are coming to an end today, I'm flying back home to drive everybody crazy. Many new ideas.

I've been able to use them without an issue. I just host them on another site and point the address to it. I'm not sure I still have any running, but I will look. I also was able to use .gif movies from a free myspace .gif site for some "Adult" like teasers.

I had them up when the customization first started, but it didn't have any real increase on my visitors or CTR. Probably didn't let it sit for long enough, but I've found the minimalistic approach works best... Short and to the point.

Thanks also to everyone who has given up their tips and tricks for better SEO. This newbie appreciates all the help he can get

How exactly did you insert a .gif in parked's landing template when all you are able to upload is jpg?

Inside the "content" WYSIWYG editor, you can link to images, which also enables you to link to a .gif.
I don't think it's possible to run anything but a .jpg in the main structure, though.

I fired up a domain today on Parked ... just to get reacquainted with it a little ... and Sonny there was of great assistance is helping me "customize" the title, keywords, metas, and some content to better target it, "For Sale" and contact details, etc. :gl: :imho:

The good thing is that it's very small...You can see it at FastLoans.name I like it just for the contact link. Trying for that good Quality thing. Can't prove that it helps but I read that it's one of the things the PPC providers look for..Try to make em haapy,haapy,haapy

If you guys are really lookingfor parking income leave the for sale info off makes it more obvious what it is if these landing pages are not enough

For sale messages help get sales done - heck, on some domains I have the text "THIS DOMAIN FOR SALE" in all CAPS and the clicks keeping coming, plus the bonus of purchase inquiries / questions - even nonsensical email comments can sometime translate into sales / ideas of better monetizing.

Furthermore, Parked allows direct inquiry link / email right on the parking page without the redirect nonsense of some other parking companies; domainers have much control and leeway at Parked.com

Understandably so, i would too, and i bet many others as well

Frankly, i'd rather see everything as an opportunity to build my site through modules, move pictures, ad boxes, etc. around the screen and merge them within the content. Of course, no site should be able to be saved (finalized) without using the required number of ad boxes, yet it would give us the ultimate freedom to build our sites literally around the ads and not below the ads. (just thinking out loud)

For some things, GIFs are better, like if you are using 256 or fewer colors (a graphic rather than a photo) and you don't want the lossy solid color areas that too much compression can cause in JPG, or if you want transparency, or if you want to use an animated gif.
