Pagerank queries

We already know that toolbar PR is in fact an historical figure. When you query google for current PR, you get some mysterious figures such as:

These figures are for a site that has a current toolbar of PR0.

I searched the web for an explanation, but failed to get a good one.

Is there any idea as to what all these magical numbers mean?

I always wondered that as well. My first thought would be they are PR's in all of their different datacenters/bases.

Not sure though, but I'm sure somebody else knows.

some of my pages that were 0 now have a page rank but my existing ones did not change....
