I believe this guy has the TM rights to use his own name..

But it should be fine if it's used for a fansite (but I would ask for permission first...)

Celebrity names don't have to be registered to be protected by TM.. if the name is his "paycheck".. it's legally protected from commercial exploitation.

ya but what if someone elese has a name like that like some guy off the street? how do you trademark that, the guy who owns it now can sell it saying its for a different guy and get away with it but the buyer if he goes for Ozzy the signer then he would have to get premissions but you could just sell the domain and not get in trouble

I could just claim e.g Behr.com (my sir name) and say that I need it because it represents me and my business activities....

To be honest I think that a celebrity is anyone rich enough to sue....
