question Outbound email tracking?

[RockBros]

Hello all,

I’m using namecheap’s private email hosting, instead one of the free email services, so I have an email address from one of my domains, which I believe most would agree is best, when outbounding, for a variety of reasons.

I’d like to be able to track emails that I send, so I can see if & when recipient opens it, how many times they view and/or click a link, but namecheap support, says they don’t offer such a service.

How I can integrate an email tracking service with NC’s private email hosting?

Can't tell you about NC, i use MailGun which is free for low volumes. I'm pretty sure you can route your outbound emails from NC via Mailgun.

As SMTP I use SendGrid.
Previously I used Mailjet.

+ some trackers are also available for Google Apps (GSuite) users as add-ons...

I’ll check it out and see what Mailgun and NC say about routing outbound emails.

Are these 3rd party services that you use through whoever is providing your email hosting?

Not familiar with Google Apps (GSuite). Is this a product that I’d be able to use NC email hosting through?

These services don't host your email, they provide SMTP and tracking.

NC email hosting is not needed at all if https://gsuite.google.com
I use it since the beginning (when it was called Google Apps).

+ I use Ionos (1and1) email forwarding for my secondary domain.
They also provide Basic (POP3/webmail) package for free, but just forwarding is enough for me.

All mentioned above are free with normal email volume.
Only GSuite is not free.
