today i was outbid for xoobs.com when i got themessage someone outbid me i searched the name and a company had xoobs.net so i gave up. if were to have won this low priced auction would i just be cybersquatin on it. or would i have been with in my rights to turn around and sell it again??

Without searching for trademarks, I think you would have been fine.

A lot of websites are at their, but only a hanful have trademarked names. If anything, since they have a .net, you could probably have sold the .com to them for a nice pofit.
