So gay cowboys had to have existed but you sure never suspected any of that "hanky panky" whilst watching the Lone Ranger. But finally there comes a mainstream movie that brings the cowboys "out" of the bunkhouse and on to the movie screen with Ang Lee's "Brokeback Mountain".. not that there's anything wrong with that. Then again, as the article suggests, gay love or straight, the feelings of hurt, excitement, or anguish run just as deep. Maybe this will be a movie that tells it like it really is.
