Original Trademark is listed for sale but they want my domain

i registered a domain on drop in dec. ...its a 5L ...today i got a letter from a company's VP claiming to have TM on similar name...

the trademark they own is B**A and i own 5L B**AJ ...... their original name is quite long B**A di ****O

interesting here is that B**A.com is registered since 2001 and listed for sale...... there are several other TM on B**A........ its a Italian word and have meaning


B**A is registered and listed for sale (exact match of their trademark) Regd since 2001 - company got trademark in 1997
B**AA. is registered not resolving
B**AL is registered and Listed for sale
B**AM is registered and Listed for sale
B**AS is registered and have website
B**AR is registered and have website



please advice me on this ......

I'd ignore it for now. To respond is to acknowledge you know about a potential problem. If he contacts you again and mentions purchasing, then make a deal. Don't offer to sell to him. It sounds like he has a weak case based on how you described it, and that fact that he didn't retain a lawyer. He's just trying to make you jump.
