What are your thoughts on .online domains?
It's very generic and not as ugly as .xyz for example, so that's a plus - but perhaps a little too long to have any success...
Plus most good names are either unavailable or premium...

Just have to rave a little more about the DreamHost transfer deal, because I've been waiting for a deal like this for months, and THIS IS IT. I have no idea how long the promo will be valid for, but I'd highly recommend taking advantage of it while it's there. I'm doubtful that we'll see a better/comparable deal anytime soon; the next best option imho is Name.com at $19.99 (I was transferring to them until this deal). Forget the west.xyz crap and move to a US-based registrar that's been around for 20 years. Again, I've never used them til recently, but the transfers are easy and have been completing 30 mins after I place the order. Obviously it's too early to transfer out again, but the "send auth code" links are easy to find, which leads me to believe there shouldn't be any issues when that time comes.

Tonight I transferred another 5 .online's from GoDaddy to DreamHost at a total cost of $9.75.... I love it!!

I tested 5 .onlines and they got transferred quickly. Not bad...
