What are your thoughts on .online domains?
It's very generic and not as ugly as .xyz for example, so that's a plus - but perhaps a little too long to have any success...
Plus most good names are either unavailable or premium...

I think its not really bad. About 90% of the first week registrations is being renewed. The upcoming deletes will set .online back for about 4 days in registrations. Lets see what happens the coming months when the renewals come up for the registrations that happened after week 1.

Just saw a new transfer deal listed on namestat.org:

$4.95 .online transfers at Dreamhost (limited time, I believe)

I've never used them, but at least they're a well-known company... Trying a transfer now, will update later.

By this measure, .online is the #2 most popular out of 1,174 new gtlds.
With that in mind, it's shocking how little attention it gets here! I think a handful of us are onto something...

BTW, I really can't recommend the Dreamhost transfer deal. Six days later I have yet to even receive an initial transfer request email, and customer support has been useless.

Anyone ever have any problems with their West.xyz transfers? The site doesn't seem to be resolving for me, which is a little scary...

I still have access to the site and to my account. Never experienced this problem since I started my account at West.xyz at August 18th and already transferred more than 100 names hassle-free.

My advice would be to get in contact with Lillian at [email protected]. She can get you in contact with the proper department at West.xyz. But consider the timezone she lives in (UTC +8), so you can anticipate the hours she can't be reached.
