One Domain Name or Many?

Hello everyone, i Have a domain name question that I hope someone could answer/

I am not new to domain names however very new to buying pageranked and traffic domains. I have starting looking into this avenue.

My plan is to build a bunch of niche sites using wordpress platform. I plan on using the Affiliate Theme for them however not sure about the domain name(s) part.

Should I purchase a pageranked domain for each niche site I build or can I purchase one really good pageranked domain for all of them using the wordpress multisite option creating the niches under one domain. (the domain name would be universal such as reviews or products etc.)

Buy one good domain name and run your busines on it instead of running several websites...
