Old Domain Locked At Godaddy: How Do I transfer Out Please?

Hello,

I have this domain name I picked at Godaddy Auction and I would like to transfer out to Network Solutions.

The problem now is that the status of the domain name read: "Transfer locked until 3/14/2017: Backorder purchase" however, it still allow Authorization code to be sent to me via email.

I know this is due to ICANN's new rule but is there a way I can still transfer the d omain to Network Sol.?

Yes, if you can convince Godaddy to lift their lock. I suppose you found a buyer ? Who would want to transfer to netsol ?
