Hey whats up everyone my name is Luis anyways, hopefully this is not a question that has already been posted or the answer is in the forum already

I recently registered my domain, at godaddy at also using their parking system i decided to make my next move after doing "some" homework which was to park elsewhere(namedrive).

Now heres my questions

Can i park at two different places at one time(meaning at godaddy and namedrive)????

Also what happens if i had only changed one of the servers name to point to godaddy and the other one to namedrive

any help would be appreciated

No. And it resolves to your primary name server.

You can find more information by using Google, and typing in words such as "DNS", "Name Servers", and "How does the internet work"

Cool

Cool thanks fragger, also had one more question

Someone recommended me that i start a blog for attepmpting to drive traffic to it, but im still debating on whether this will be valid trafffic in the eyes of namedrive

Does this depend on the terms each park company has?

It does

Most parking co's dis allow any driving traffic at all.

Its either type in, exisiting traffic or nothing

Check my sig

We are the exception to this

Ok. I'm going to give you the facts. They may not be what you want to hear... but they are the facts. And knowing them will save you time, and keep your expectations from getting shattered.

First, your site isn't going to just pop up in Google. Normal indexing of a site can range from days to a few weeks. Most importantly, google needs to be able to find your page. How does it find it? Through other links on sites google already knows about. Or by submitting it to google. However, you cannot submit parked pages.

Second, when and if your site does become indexed in google, you probably will receive little to no traffic this way. Google doesn't even want parked pages in the first place, and when they are indexed, they rank extremely poorly.

Third, if you only have one domain and it is a fresh reg, it is probably going to take you many months to accumulate even your minimum amount in revenue to be paid. I don't know what the topic of your domain is, and what keywords you are using, but most domainers will tell you that you literally need to have hundreds of domains ( and decent ones at that ) with some sort of traffic stream to make money parking. I currently have about 2,000 domains parked and only make about $100 a day from those that are parked.

Which brings me to my final point. Learn about the web and do it from the bottom up. Learn how the web works, what people search for, respond to, and what areas you can make money in. Learn the basics of html and css, and the principles of clean and effective web design. Then, delve into how to monetize your pages. Discovering ad placement, affiliate techniques, ect. Because honestly, if you want to make real money in this business, it is going to take work and dedication. And the real money isn't to be made in parking. The handful of developed sites I have done generally make more than the thousands I have parked. So if you really want to do it right, educate yourself first, then act accordingly. The forums here are a good place to learn, but there is an endless amount of information out there just waiting for you to search for it.

you can only park on only one parking company.
you actually don't need two name servers for your domain to resolve one is ok, the second is made as a backup.
