If you are collaborating, have you and your partners met face to face?
Is it important that you meet face to face with your partners?
We are planing a big meeting in the DC/Baltimore area in June with our partners and affliates. Originally, one of our affliates asked for a meeting. I was a little skeptical at first. However, as I think about it, one of the mistakes I made at my last company was not including partners/affliates in the development and operations of the company. They sent us traffic, we mailed them a check, the account manager called once a month to say "hi".
Our service is about collaboration. We have to remain true to our "core values" expanding that thinking beyond our service and integrating it into how we operate our company.
