Someone just 'dropped' a landrush name (TOY) and I was lucky enough to get it.

Wow! They must have already had some collection of names to drop that one.

The problem with this name and names alike is the high cost vs. relevance. There are also loads of prime names sitting unregged at this point. Examples being pal.tv and vagina.tv amongst several others...

As much as I like vaginas and pals, I think Toy is much more relevant and lucrative in the long run..

Now as to price, it depends on your buying power. If it was reg fee would you have bought toy.tv. Anyone who would say no except for Jeff would be telling fibs....

So those with a few bob to spend will look at the one off price as you and me look at reg fee price - i.e a bargain.

But this is still a huge bet. Its no secret that Jimbo has all along believed in the extension and sank some significant money in the ext.

If it pays off, it will pay off huge - super huge

if .tv can gain the recognition that .net has - and I NOW think .tv is on the rise and .net on the drop - parity will be achieved at some point in time....

But thats a huge if...and .tv does not need to gain that much recognition for it still to pay off..after all some of the players have moved all in......I hope the gamble pays off
